I absolutely love seeing how other planners use my free sticker printables. So I was super pleased to see Karin's Plan With Me video on her YouTube channel, Mrs. Tegeman, where she used my Hello Kitty St. Patrick's Day free printable sticker kit. Karin left me a comment where she linked her video and I had to click immediately. If you want to see how she uses the kit, check it out here. Thank you so much Karin, for sharing this with me and your viewers! Definitely click on the link to her YouTube channel to see lots more awesome Plan With me videos.
Now, when I was growing up in the 80's and 90's, one of my favourite things to watch was the Golden Girls. Sophia was always my homegirl ;) So after asking some fellow Happy Planners on one of the Facebook groups I am in and getting a huge response, I figured it was time to go ahead and make a weekly sticker kit for myself and all the other Golden Girls fans. You can see how I used the kit in my Happy Planner below. If you want to download this retro goodness for yourself, click here.
Coming up next for free printable planner stickers are:
I love Edgar Allan Poe. In elementary school, I picked up The Cask of Amontillado, and I was hooked. So, of course, I had to have an EAP week in my Happy Planner, and why not share it. You can find the free PDF here.
If you're curious about the stamps I use, they are from StudioL2E. I make my own exercise and tv show stickers and the piggy bank was a free printable from My Planner Envy.
Here are a few close ups of my planner layout.
Below is my monthly calendar for April in my MAMBI Happy Planner.
And my monthly goals page for April. The typewriter, "smile" and pink planner stickers were a RAK (random act of kindness) I received from fellow Canadian, MonKat.Plans. The other stickers are all from various MAMBI Happy Planner stickers packs.
And here is a peek at my first week of April. This was a free printable from a woman in a Facebook group I am in, her name is Hillary Hancox. She did an awesome job on these.
As always, thank you for stopping by! Any feedback is appreciated. Have a great day/night!
Ask and you shall receive. I had a couple of readers comment that they wanted my Keroppi stickers, so here they are! The only thing is that to save paper I printed them out with my donut stickers too. Sorry the positioning is a bit wonky, this printable was meant for me to begin with :) If you want them separated, leave me a comment and I will rework the printable this week and repost it. Thanks for stopping by!
I love the monthly goals page in the Me and My Big Ideas Happy Planner. It's got mini calendars for the previous/current/next months, a space for birthdays and important days for the month, as well as national holidays and an area to write down things you need to remember. This month, I don't have a ton going on that I've had to plan ahead for and no birthdays, so I went ahead and covered up a few sections of the page with Hello Kitty Easter stickers that I printed out on some sticker paper and stuck right over the areas I wasn't going to use. I finished it up with a bit of Easter washi tape I found at my local dollar store, and filled in the info that I need for March. The "workout", barbell icon, exclamation mark, letter and number stickers are all from one of the older MAMBI Happy Planner sticker packs, and I added a couple of Easter stickers that I found, again, at my local dollar store.
I have also created a free weekly Easter sticker printable PDF sized for the Happy Planner you can download here, but it might also fit in the Erin Condren Life Planner. I will update with a photo of how I used my free printable tomorrow, once I've got some better light.
Hope you enjoy it and let me know if you've got any feedback. Thanks for stopping by!
I love making stickers. It's a bit of an addiction. Since I got my MAMBI Happy Planner in December (I literally went out at 9 pm on Boxing Day to grab one at Michaels-they were open until 10 pm!-after watching multiple youtube videos and stalking IG), I've been trying to be thriftier with my planner because it's so easy to get caught up spending lots of money to get it to look a certain way, so I started making my own planner stickers to help offset the cost of going ape sh*t crazy buying stickers on etsy. Below is the St. Patrick's Day weekly spread in my planner. The link to download is at the bottom of this page. I make all of my TV show stickers as well and print them out onto skinny white label sheets and trim the sides (when I'm not being lazy) to fit into my planner.
Below are some of my current layouts in my HP. The weekend banners I threw together myself. This weekly spread is a free printable I found on myplannerenvy. Jessica puts together these great themed planner sticker sets and shares them for free (for personal use) on her site. This one is her Work Day Sampler.
The second weekly spread is is a free printable from andreanicoleblogs and it's her Elegant Planner Sticker Squares.
Below are two weekly layouts that I put together and are on the same printable. If you are interested in these layouts for yourself, just comment here and I will add them to my free planner printables for download (personal use only). Donuts are amazeballs and Keroppi was my first kawaii love before I went crazy over Hello Kitty (I was a non-conformist and refused to give in to all the HK hype ;).
You can download this file here.
Hello again! I promised I wouldn't be so long...
Just a little bit of news: I was accepted as a vendor at The Goods: Handmade Market Spring Edition happening on Saturday, April 30th between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm at the Mohawk Park Pavilion in Brantford, Ontario.
The event is being put on in support of Nova Vita women's services, so all vendor table fees and "pay what you can" admissions are being donated to Nova Vita so that they can continue providing care and assistance to abused women and their children in the Brantford area.
So mark the date on your calendars and give generously to this much needed service :)
I will be bringing enough nostalgic and gift-able awesomeness to fill 8 feet of table so come check it out!
Yes. It's been 47 days since my last blog. I'm a bad blogger. What else can I say.
So, in the past 88 days, I had a dirty EVLT procedure done for my varicose veins (but it was entirely worth it! My leg no longer has shooting pains and horrid heaviness but that's enough about that), I vacationed in Florida with my husband and awesome in-laws, I worked 3 craft shows with my sister Sylvia, celebrated Christmas and New Years with the fam, celebrated my dad's 77th birthday, my tiny hamster Thor died, and I've been working. So I haven't been here.
In that time, I've also gone through a Dokibook, and settled into a MAMBI Happy Planner, as detailed in various Instagram photos such as this Dokibook flip through, my first lay out in my Happy Planner that I ran to Michaels at 9:30 at night to pick up on Boxing Day, my sticker order from Keena Prints, my plan ahead page for January in The Happy Planner, and my beautiful Frida Kahlo DIY Happy Planner cover. And if you continue scrolling through my Instagram, there were various weekly lay outs, broken rings, DIY stickers and DIY clear pockets that I fixed to hold my stickers that I like to have at hand.
Will be back with more photos soon. A lot sooner than 47 days.
Saturday was crazy. It was a double craft show day-one in Mississauga and one in Hamilton, Ontario. But we had a wonderful time at the Streetsville Craft and Gift Show Crawl and the Sugar and Spice Holiday Market.
Also, my phone fell in the toilet. At the first show. At, like, 11 am. [Only me.]
So, luckily, I've got a photo of the first show, but, sadly, not the second.
This was also the first show that I debuted my new mixed paper book journals. And they were a hit! Below are the Christmas/Holiday journals/notebooks. At the Sugar and Spice Holiday Market, my very last customer of the night bought a Night Before Christmas journal to use as a guest book for her holiday party. How awesome is that!
I also made a bunch out of Disney Little Golden Books and those were very popular. You can see them on my Instagram feed here, here, here, and here.
These books are filled with mixed papers including vintage ledger paper, white art paper for dry media, lined paper, graph paper, vintage dictionary pages, Project Life cards, playing cards, patterned paper, paper gift bags, vintage Betty Crocker recipe cards and more.
People were buying them for gifts, guest books for holiday parties and baby book showers, scrapbooks, journals, and even as a notebook for writing speeches. They would also make awesome Disney autograph books!
They are one of a kind, handmade, and not as scary as a blank notebook.
If you're interested in ordering one or several (I had an order for 9 different journals as Christmas secretary gifts!) click on the contact tab to let me know what you're looking for.
Until next time,
Since becoming one of the many artisan vendors at Splash of Charm, I have had the pleasure to be in the company of so many amazingly talented artists. One of which is Czarina Garcia, owner of Compass and Canvas Event Styling and Design. In addition to being a mother and entrepreneur, she writes her blog at www.LittleBossLady.com. She has been so kind to feature various local Ontario artists on her site, all vendors at Splash of Charm Boutique in Port Credit, Mississauga.
Click here to find all of the featured artists on her blog, including Susan Mast, Owner and jewelry maker of Black Horse Studios, and Cassandra Chu, Owner and creator of Poppy the Doll.
And make sure you visit Splash of Charm Boutique to shop a variety of local hand made goods, and experience top notch customer service. If you're lucky, you'll even get to meet an artisan or two while you're there.
Don't forget to visit madeiracrafts at Liam's Angels Family Fun Day Fundraiser in support of ending Cystic Fibrosis, this Saturday at the Italian Canadian Club of Milton from 9 am to 6 pm. With pony rides, magicians, face painting, yoga demos, and a craft and bake sale, it's fun for the whole family!
As always, thanks for stopping by my tiny corner of the internet.
I am so pleased to be a part of this wonderful cause.
Born on February 14th, 2015, Liam was diagnosed with CF (cystic fibrosis) at just 3 weeks old. Now his parents are dedicating their time to him and to raising awareness about this fatal genetic disease. You can find out more about Liam and cystic fibrosis here.
To do this they are hosting their first annual "Family Fun Day with Liam" on Saturday, August 29th in Milton, Ontario, at the Italian Canadian Club at 104 Tremaine Road. There will be speakers about CF, pony rides and games, magicians and face painting, yoga demos, and craft and bake sale vendors.
I am one of the lucky craft vendors and will be selling my handmade paper goods at this fun filled and worthwhile event.
I hope to see you there!
If you are unable to attend and still want to support Liam's cause, donations can be made here.
Owner of madeiracrafts + maker of many things.
